IDnet Traffic shaping?

Just 1 question. Do Idnet traffic shape or throttle at all? If anyone can help that would be great thanks.

No, not at all. Even if you go over the 30Gb allowance, all that happens is that you have to pay for it, it's not restricted in any way.

Only been with IDNet since July but seen no evidence of traffic shaping/throttling at all. Just the normal occasional slower speeds at times of high contention is all I've noticed so far, but even that has been minor.

Having migrated from Pipex I have experience of traffic shaping and the lack of it was one reason why I picked IDNet (and of course the glowing endorsements from this forum ).
