Considering joining IDNET

Thinking of moving over. If necessary how does one reach Technical Support. What type of telephone call charges are involved and average waiting times for the phone to be picked up, can one communicate with emails. Any other general type of info appreciated.

Average wait times for telephone support is 4 rings. Email support is extremely quick, normally within an hour or two, sometimes IDNet will respond to an email with a telephone call to you also.

Very friendly and knowledgable CS and supprt, Usually named, Simon, Tim or Miriam. They do know what they are talking about.

They have a very friendly and helpful officially sanctioned support forum at : http://www.idnetters.idnet.co.uk/forums/index.php

IDnet is one of the most reliable connections I have come across, you will not be dissappointed when you cahnge. Looking forward to welcomming you over her.

You couldn't choose a better isp. You will be delighted with every aspect of IDNET, believe me.

You will not regret it , as Margaret says it must be one of the best isp's around at the moment.
The customer Support is definitely the best.

I endorse the various very favourable comments made thus far regarding IDNet.
Long may they continue to metaphorically stand apart and above most of the rest of the 'crowd'.

Am I not going to miss, holding the phone to my ear, for normally in excess of twenty minutes waiting for the Technical Support to pick the phone up, this has been on a daily basis.
The best is the part where the ISP blames BT, and after a BT engineer's visit, BT blames the ISP. The ISPs retort to that is that the BT Engineer is talking a load of guff.
And this is one of the MOST ESTEEMED ISPs according to various ratings which they have been awarded.
The whole experience has been a nightmare from day TWO!!!!.

Another thing you wont miss is the cheesy music they play while you wait in the queue for your turn.

5 rings max at IDNet CS and then you actually talk to someone, and I'm not exaggerating

Forgot to mention that I am a Lighthouse Keeper at Land's End.
I lose my connection, every time the Fog Horn blows.
Do you 'all' still guarantee, this will not happen with IDNET.
