I think what really brought to home the service of IDNet was them actually knowing me by name- and I'm not even the account holder! My partner even has a different surname (we're not married yet).
It was the name thing that hit me yesterday. None of this, what's your account number stuff. Human being to human being, it feels so much better.

Thanks, I sincerely hope so. I moved to Nildram to find a better ISP. Six months ago most people would, I think, have said "good choice". Six months shouldn't have been long enough to destroy the company, but then my first dial-up ISP was Pipex, and I left because of their arrogance. Guess I should have known better.
