Preliminary Experience with IDNET

[link to this post]

Phoned Idnet sales earlier and a lady called 'Kate' answered. Is idnet on another planet to my current excuse for an ISP? She was so mild mannered and polite. She answered the questions I asked, willingly without the BS and said (in view of some of the tech stuff) she would get someone from their tech dept/support to ring me shortly.

Do you know what, they did! Some equally mild mannered and cool sounding fella called Tim rang me. I am usually a good judge of where people are coming from and this bloke was so polite and helpful and clearly from the planet 'we know what we're doing' I am convinced if this is the sort of treatment Idnet dish out then their the right choice for me.

Not what I'm used to with my current ISP after 6 years!

Now the battle to get my mac commences

So thankyou to her and him

I bet your current ISP doesn't have the top management (actual owners) reply the way they do here. Tim and Simon are the Big Cheeses and could not be more helpful or friendly. Wait till you hear from Miriam. Who cares about the Internet when you can talk to real, personable and knowledgable people like these.

Fanboy points +1.

Having spoken to both Tim and Miriam, I know exactly what you mean. Tim was helpful, informative, prepared to discuss concerns, keen to expound on where he sees the service going. Miriam was a charmer, knowledgeable, quick to answer my questions and very willing to explore my quest to make the move a smooth one.

I just need Simon for a set.
