Just fast on my feet and gave no options to Nildram to ask silly questions, so I got the MAC Monday, having made contact with IDNet already, and everything was in train within minutes of the email arriving.

But I'll keep you a place warm.

Gotcha

Migration request submitted Monday morning to Simon.
Migration completed at 02:23am this morning (Thursday), right on schedule.

... on the new Home SuperMAX package too

Now how's about that for service?!

How did you know when you had gone over?

It was easy last time as I went from fixed speed to Max, so the sync speed told me. This time, I've been told the only way to find out is to try the new login.

I'd turned my router off last night. Woke up, turned on and the old Aquiss login wouldn't authenticate. Put the new, IDNet on in and hey presto! I'm an IDNet user again.

Chuffed

Well, either BT hasn't got around to me or I'm still waiting - time will tell I guess.

BT are now saying they may not get around to me before the 6pm deadline, but I'm not marked as a delay! I think they must need a new bike to send an engineer to the exchange...

Have you tried disconnecting and trying the new login details?

The last few times I've moved ISP's, I've never been disconnected from my old ISP, but when I disconnected myself, I couldn't reconnect, as the realm had been changed. Just an idea for you, if you've not actually disconnected, and are waiting for it to kick you off for you

'signature' is not recognized as an
operable program or batch file.

I have tried my originally assigned username/password, another one they gave me over the phone (by which I am connecting via dial-up right now) and tried going back to my original Nildram connection. I have sync and LCP, but can't sign in anywhere, including the BT test domain.

Not the best of days.
