Switched on early!!!

When I ordered IDNet last Tuesday, the email I received said I would be connected on Tueday 7th. I plugged my router into the phone line this morning and to my surprise I'm already connected!! I may have been connected earlier than today, but I've only just plugged my router into to find out.

Am I special or something, cos I never in my wildest dreams thought BT would do something this quickly!! For once it seems BT have done something right!

They're obviously trying to get on the right side of Miriam after connecting me a day late.

Lol, yea maybe. I couldn't believe that the monkeys actually did something right! Only hope they sort the contended exchange out now! Not complaining at the minute though, its just good to have the net back!

Early activations / migrations are quite common ... BT must give themselves some extra time margin ... to cover themselves.

I'm in the same boat re contended exchange - it is currently RED, was meant to be fixed on Oct 28th ... now it has moved to Nov 28th. Great.

It seems like nearly every exchange is red at the moment. Ours was due to be fixed Friday, but none of the checkers have an update.

Mine was meant to be fixed yesterday, but I KNEW that wouldn't happen.

Given your early connection, who knows?

Red here and they have moved the fix date
