Free chat looked decidedly quite at one point.

Be/O2 and Sky/UKOnline/Easynet both seem to be good. How CPW/TalkTalk/Opal are now I have no idea, but they certainly use their database of who did an availability check quite aggressively..... Of course, we won't mention Tiscali or Orange. That's everyone of significance/reasonable coverage isnt it ??

There was a hint that it was globalcrossing. This came from a marketing piece or press release on either enta or gblx. Does not mean its what they did but someone remarked on glbx having taken over the fibre-beside-railways service someone else set up.

Which would explain the (repeated) vulnerability of the backhaul to man with shovel. The funny thing being that the most prominent promotion on the glbx site (recently) was for using their networks as contingent links for mission critical links! ho-hum.
