Network Issues

Looks like a problem where I can only access a fraction of websites

I've just had that too, I thought it was just me as re-booting the router cured it... but that could have been coincidence?


edit- I couldn't access mail either, but an audio stream from ClassicFM wasn't affected... though when I stopped it, it wouldn't restart

Apparently if you're having trouble then a disconnect and reconnect should work... though if you're having real problems you probably can't read this

Broadband
When trying to fix the primary broadband circuit BT managed to kill the backup circuit too. This dropped all customer connections!

They have now restored the backup circuit and are still working on the primary.

Everybody on IDNet had the same, that's when BT excelled themselves and killed the backup link

BT finally fixed the fibre fault at around 2am this morning.

Service is back to full resilience.
