They are neither, Max.

They might be more expensive than PlusNet, but they do get better reviews if the comparison function on this site is to be believed.

Let's just stay I stay with them, because I can't assure myself that I could get the same service elsewhere without a significant increase in price.

A&A and Uno I suspect are better, but cannot offer unlimited in the case of A&A and Uno cannot offer FTTC at the same price point for theitr standard service. Their Duo product is very competitive pricewise, but I'm not willing to take the rsik on a product with a 20 Mb/s assured rate.

I've been with them for a while now. I've also been through the other premium ISPs, Zen and A&A, before joining them, and I can say that, whilst IDNet is not the best of the best of the best (with honours), for the price point, they deliver a service which matches my expectations.

I can promise you that ... if you need a service which is the best of the best of the best, A&A is up there. When I was with them, there was never any slow down, or latency spikes, during ANY point of the day. It was flat out perfect, with the monthly charge reflecting that.

I have no issues with PN always solid 80/20 and downloading still at 8.9 MB/sec wih 10GB video and the BQM are good too with no spikes or packet loss

PN are good budget, no issues with FTTC and always get ticket reply from support via PN forum rather than online account ticket system.

IDNet just rip off price 80/20.

Hmm i dunno i seam to be still getting random disconnection and now packet loss

Since lock down my connection has been having random packet loss and disconnections ive also emailed them twice about it and got no reply.
Only info i have from them is what they post on the website about planned works.
As for an isp there not too bad but i'm paying more than budget isp so i expect a better service.

Yeah that's why I never believe IDNet are top best isp than PN not always the case! Funny is PN haven't let me down since 2014 for my FTTC, the only downside is DLM banded my line at 74Meg instead of 80Meg but PN has request to BT to do remotely DLM resetted and got my 80Meg back. IDNet - will they do this - resetted DLM , no they won't!
