To the best of my knowledge, yes they use BT Wholesale backhaul.
I asked pheasant because from this post I concluded you thought Cerberus didn't, from the bit about preferring non-BT Wholesale suppliers.
Thinking about moving back to Cerberus. I think Aquiss are a BT Wholesale reseller so don't have their own network or peering arrangements as that is all done by BT, not necessarily a bad thing but I prefer when paying a bit more the ISP has their own network and their own technicians should you get some odd issue, and you aren't lumped up with millions of other customers quite so much!
I did think they did, from assorted posts here and elsewhere, but nothing definitive.

Connections: OnePlus 8 Pro on Three 4+ (LTE)/5G and at home Three Mobile, with (Three)ZTE MF286D router giving about 113/20Mbps.

Well they certainly don't use Zen backhaul as the year I was with them I never had the regular 1:30am drops that seems to be Zens thing or the randomness of fast/slow routing. smile

I've since seen that Cerberus have BT Wholesale listed as a partner on their website for providing connectivity.

That's news to me wink

We are 100% via CityFibre Wholesale (use to be known as Entanet) taking services over Layer 2 (with a little bit of legacy Layer 3). We are also an official Openreach partner as can be seen https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband/fttp-provi...

We do everything inhouse from sales, support and billing, supporting circa 20000 customers.

Sorry I thought I had seen somewhere that it was BT Wholesale, thanks for the correction. I couldn't find any peering details for Aquiss on peeringdb.com, do you have your own kit or is it CityFibre providing the onward connectivity. CityFibre do seem well connected.

If you take Layer 2 What is your Autonomous System, or give a sample Ip. I was a customer until recently on a city fibre connection and that used AS8468 which has been Enta's AS before cityfibre ate them.

What Ips are you routing over these l2 services exactly. You down own any that belong to you according to Ripe https://ftp.ripe.net/ripe/stats/membership/alloclist...

Of any interest?
IDNet joins retailers selling full fibre over CityFibre network

I don't think that helps me with IDNet unfortunately as they are only offering CityFibre in a CityFibre enabled area, and that isn't me. I'd happily stay with IDNet if they would get me off Zen's backhaul, but have said there is nothing they can do.

I thought that might be the case as I wasn't sure where you were, but it seemed worth a mention.

Apologies, in my rush to get out the office door and home, that should have read "taking services over Layer 3 (with a little bit of legacy Layer 2)"...it's been a long day!

All of their Layer 3 is via AS8468.

We have a fully contracted managed connectivity service with CityFibre for 100% onward connectivity, which works for us better commercially....and what future plans that's in development atm wink
