Looks [censored] latency from VM. Dumped their rubbish mobile a month back. Rubbish now after switching networks for price and a race to the bottom.

I'm only with them still as they gave me a 18TB yes i mean 18000GB sim with unlimited mins and text, it also comes with M100 and talk weekend calls all for a great price of £29 a month.
You guessed it I am only with them as its the fastest for now and full fibre is only a few months away, can't wait to leave in may for the wonderful journey of faster upload's and more stability with a topping of low latency.
If you think my BMQ is bad you should have seen it before i got my own router, it would peek to over 1000Ms, loading google was worse than enabling half a meg traffic management on a port on a switch.

Many Thanks,

Not sure how this irrelevant side-thread from geeks and axe-grinders has any connection with the original posting about an IDNet outage. Perhaps complaints and brags about another provider would be better in a separate topic.

The IDnet outages are due to Zen backhaul sniper, identical BQMs have proved it. In my case it looks a possible Zen congestion issue at busy times, but will be away in a few hours to something double the speed for the same price and no tie in with very good customer service.

And you'll be leaving with a well-sharpened axe.

Please elaborate on the actions you are taking that will double your speed. How do you know that your new supplier has very good customer service?

It didn't take long for the nit-picking to start. For a start I have already posted a speedtest showing double the speed I had from Zen 38/10. As for customer service, i have experienced it already, also I am capable of reading reviews, you should try it. Next question?

Try these for size then
1) It would appear you were with Zen. but I'm not sure. So where did you post the results of the speed test you made when you were with them or perhaps with another ISP.
2) What was the cost of the service?
3) The speed test you just posted indicates you are now with TalkTalk, but is that with the residential or business division?
4) How much do you now pay?
5) Does this new service use the same cabling as the old service?

It does seem to me that the problems you formerly experience are due to your geographical location with local congestion being the culprit. As for reviews that are published, many are simply not genuine and therefore all should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Not a byte dropped and even better latency than Zen makes me a happy bunny.
