FTTC dropping out

[link to this post]

IDNet FTTC connection with a line that is normally rock-solid. In the last 48 hours we have had 8 short (2 to 3 minutes) instances where the router remains connected (Routerstats currently showing an uptime of over 61 days) but internet access is lost.

IDNet can see the disconnections but no obvious reason.

Any one else seeing the same or is it a local problem?

A week or so back I had 2 internet drops only 3 days apart, neither lasting more than a couple of minutes, but nothing since.

Rightly or wrongly, I assumed it was Zen messing about with their backhaul balance again, it happens occasionally. But 8 times in 48 hours... crazy

Bill, thanks for the response.

Must confess my first reaction was to point the finger at Zen! Nothing since 2 in quick succession about 13:00 so fingers crossed.
