What speed is your line and how actively is it used?
It looks like it could do with QoS.

Also might be worth checking for the optimal MTU size as 1500 is too much for PPPoE normally.

It's a 160/30 line, smouty, and used quite lightly atm. Mainly streaming audio today. The BQM looks quite busy though.

I bought the Draytek last year when with Aquiss, so didn't purchase a router when I migrated.

I think it’s pointing to your router unfortunately.

Swap it or use a PC/laptop running a PPPoE client to see if it alters the behaviour.

Running the latest firmware?

Have you tried plugging a PC directly into the ONT and connecting that way to see how stable it is?
