MS Outlook problem

[link to this post]

Yes I did mean that - and not for me

Just received this in on my iTouch

I am trying to get MS Outlook to respond and send and receive email properly before this beast has to go in tomorrow. Everything seems OK, but it will not send mail out on Mobile Me just receive. Any way you can ask someone what the exact port setting are for it to work. I specifically need the port settings for outgoing. The incoming SSL is 993. I am about ready to smash something out of frustration.

His Macbook is 'the beast' referred to frown Poor guy is under pressure at the moment and really needs a fast bit of help please

Thanks - I have just received a test e-mail from him after he had been on Chat with Apple Support

Let ADSL know. Apple sent me an article and the outgoing port is 587 SSL.
