An interesting take on Apple business practices.

This video makes some damning comments about the way that Apple do business. I've had iPhones myself for many years but I certainly recognise the shady practices described particularly after one update immediately trashed my last phone a couple of years ago.

Ditto. Over the years I've had to have a display and a main logic board replaced; in both cases they said the same thing as in the video- signs of liquid damage on the components... fat chance, unless water got into the container on its way from China!

I suggested that to them, but they didn't respond tongue

Fortunately, in both cases it was was still under AppleCare so not my problem smile

eta- the above relates to a couple of iMacs, neither of which I can recall using when out in the rain or under the shower tongue

Advisable not to use the iMac to access the Park or you might suffer from coffee ingress. wink

So you’ll admit to splashing liquids in the vicinity of said Apple device ….. 🤔
