An interesting take on Apple business practices.

This video makes some damning comments about the way that Apple do business. I've had iPhones myself for many years but I certainly recognise the shady practices described particularly after one update immediately trashed my last phone a couple of years ago.

Ditto. Over the years I've had to have a display and a main logic board replaced; in both cases they said the same thing as in the video- signs of liquid damage on the components... fat chance, unless water got into the container on its way from China!

I suggested that to them, but they didn't respond

Fortunately, in both cases it was was still under AppleCare so not my problem


eta- the above relates to a couple of iMacs, neither of which I can recall using when out in the rain or under the shower

Advisable not to use the iMac to access the Park or you might suffer from coffee ingress.

I know one thing- their keyboards aren't coffee-proof
