VMWare: Microsoft officially supports Windows Apple Silicon

Hopefully this will dislodge the corporate legal blocks.

EDIT:
Actually looks as if MS have given Parallels permission officially, so no longer requiring the Insider workaround. Of course MS has ignored VMWare…. Hence their blog!

Useful for those who are committed to Apple but want to run a few Windows-only apps (assuming they run on Arm Windows). But I can’t see it persuading corporations to switch from PC hardware to Macs.

Useful for corporates that provide individuals a choice of laptop and then occasionally need to use Windows only tools such as Visio or Project or some custom vertical market apps. Insanely large amount of these. I would say 65% of Intel Mac users in my company have a windows VM as well !!

Unlikely since he left active job in 2014 and left completely in 2020. Mr Nadella is the one to watch out for .... wink

Its only super big corporates with in-house lawyers whom blocked the use of insider versions anyway smile
