Correct. Call Apple Support on 0870 8760 753.
Give them the Serial number of your computer and a very brief explanation.
Now ask to be put through to Customer Relations to obtain a CS Code (out of warranty override).
Ones Customer Relations have agreed to a free top case replacement you will be able to take the laptop to any Apple Authorised Service provider (notice the CS code is only valid for that one specific part, if there are other things wrong with the machine you need to tell them there and then).
