Irritating Safari problem

[link to this post]

Over the past few days I have noticed that Safari has a habit of deleting all of my cookies. The most recent time it did it was a few moments ago, and all I was doing was updating my Facebook profile. Facebook informed me I had to be logged in to do that, despite being logged in already. I then tried to log in to my email and it asked for my username and password, and thinkbroadband has just asked me, too.

Argh! Very irritating. I'm running the latest version of Leopard and Safari.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Fetler.

Namaste.

I had a problem with cookies being deleted on a random basis. It was never all my cookies and it was never the same cookies being deleted. There are a number of threads on the Apple forum detailing this problem. One example is:

I solved it by deleting Vienna (a third party RSS reader). Never had a problem since.

Thanks for the link. I have noticed it happening a lot more since I had a webclip on my dashboard. I've deleted the webclip so hopefully that's problem solved!
