Apple and drm

[link to this post]

It would seem that with the new Ipod shuffle that you can`t use just any earphones with it, if the Apple originals break you need to buy new Apple earphones or earphones licensed by Apple. Is this what will happen from now on with new ipod designs ? Think its time to look at what other options there are.

The headphone lead also controls the shuffle as there are no buttons. I would say this is the primary reason alternative headphones may not be suitable although I'm sure someone life Griffin will make an adapter.

Guess what, it is not against the law to not buy one.

Sennheisers can cost that much. 3rd party, non-Apple.

I am quite certain others will follow.

Another false Apple story?

Shocker. Worth watching the whole 25 mins if you haven't already - the kicker is at the end of this 8:30 segment.

If Shakespeare......had a blog it would be like this.
