sharing printer

I am trying to print from a windows 7 computer to my printer which is usb connected to my imac 0SX 10.6..2 on a local network. The printer is recognised on the W7 computer and the print dialogue come on but it would not print. I have installed the latest drivers on both computers.
Here's how I set up the printer on the local network:
On the Mac, open the Sharing System Preference, and pick Printer Sharing. Select your printer.
On the Windows 7 PC, pick Start, Devices and Printers, and click Add a printer. Click The printer that I want isn't listed. Enter the name of your Mac and printer - which I could find from the list.
Click Next and finish installation
Help the W7 computer does not print

I've found that Bonjour for Windows finds and sets up Mac-connected printers when all else fails. You can find it on Apple's site. If you install it you do have to be firm with it and avoid getting a whole lot of other Apple software, including Apple Software Update, as part of the package.

Dunno whether it's W7-compatible, though. I've used in with XP.

Bonjour works fine with Windows 7.
