F-Secure are a fairly reputable company. And it's not as if they are trying to sell a virus checker in this instance.

Edit: Another report here. Hopefully Apple will fix these exploits real soon now. Smart phones are going to be the future target of the script kiddies, and it's only a matter of time before there is a serious infestation. Just think of the fun a spammer could have - not to mention the resultant phone bills!

Two week old news...

Apparently the PDF prob has a fix, so the rest should follow in due course.

A: No, it's made by Apple. And there is no separate Reader application, PDF support is built into the OS.

Q: After all the fighting between Apple and Adobe (regarding Flash), isn't this a bit ironic?
