Trash>Recovered Files>Entourage Temp

[link to this post]

Every now and then when I startup my MBP, an empty Entourage Temp folder appears in a Recovered Files folder in the wastebasket.

I haven't used Entourage for nearly 3 years. I haven't got rid of it as I might still find it useful for bulk mailings. (In Entourage you can add email addresses for people you don't know to a mailing list without having to add them them to your Address Book.)

But the issue is why does that folder appear in the trash??

There must be something running when you start up the mac. Check accounts and login items. There may be some sort of quick start office rubbish in there.
