Re: OS X 10.6.7

I just looked for updates a short while ago, and I automatically loaded and updated the update.

All went well.

Checked the TBS there, and read this thread about it - didn't know that there may have been any possible issues?

There very seldom are tongue

I've had one that wouldn't install- must have been a corrupted download somehow, I just downloaded it again and it was fine.

I think it's just that we've (nearly) all come from/still have Windows machines, and we have to have something to worry about wink

It happens. But in all the years that I've been updating OS X and Windows I've never hit a problem. Like you, I just apply updates and don't even think about it. (Mind, I always have my data backed up!)

I see - so I was right to just to trust my Apple update implicitly then? Yes - thought as much.

Kind of obvious really. No reason to doubt it either.

Hey, Bill, is your surname 'Gates' by any chance - You should not be even mentioning ANYTHING about 'Doze' in the glorious Apple Forum, ok? frown - I said OK?! mad

On you go Bill, there are places where you will be almost welcome, you know. It even has Issues in the title - THIS forum doesn't mean anything bad - it merely warns about the issues about fake-switchers!! mad

Enough of the joking. I've not been well lately, and was Mac-less for four days - I just do not need any negative Mac-Speak while I recover. OK?

Yes. Well then! laugh

I shall do a full backup tomorrow to ensure things are kept up to date. It's always best to. wink

If it was, I wouldn't be driving a ten-year old car, even if it is a Jag XJR crazy

It's a gorgeous car to drive, especially on long runs... costs a [censored] fortune to run though frown

Especially with the cost of fuel now. But what a way to drain the worlds resources.

I salve my (somewhat bent and battered) conscience with the thought that I cover <5,000 miles a year... and at my age I can see no reason why I shouldn't do it in comfort smile
