Recording

OK - new problem

I'm getting 1 to 1 language lessons via Skype . These actually move quite quickly and I'd like to be able to record them for re-use between lessons .

How can I do this ?

Yes you can.

You could use a program called Audio Hijack Pro which effectively hijacks any audio source and records it.

It is not free but not expensive and worth every penny.

Or use a tape recorder.

i'm not sure from your post if you are wanting to record video and audio......

it's free and will record any audio that comes out your sound card.it is also very easy to configure,although there are not that many settings that you will need to change .

Freesound recorder looked good till I spotted the dreaded words << all versions of windows >> so that won't work will it . Thanks for the suggestion though djfunkdup.

I'm only wanting to record audio from the Skype audiochat with my teacher.

Now I'll go off and explore Audio Hijack Pro

Out of interest who are the lessons with and what's the going rate? I'd quite like to do something like this myself.

The lessons are with a teacher from the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv
