Mac Aware ISP

I may have to leave my ISP due to cost considerations being forced upon me. My ISP is great to deal with when things go wrong, they know Macs, but I need to look at possibly cutting costs. BT Infinity seems attractive on both speed and price, but the outsourcing for customer support scares the hell out of me. Do they know anything about macs? Will it be a whole world of pain? I'm with O2 for my iPhone and their deals are also attractive. What are they like with Macs?

I would really appreciate any advice, insight or other ideas.

Take a look at Plusnet they are are OS independent and I understand they have some Mac expertise. I have been with them since 2004 and using a Mac (or three) with them for almost as long.

As far as the computer is concerned it's just an Ethernet cable. Mac, Windows, Linux, Solaris - shouldn't make any difference. It's not like the days when we used USB modems.

As above and I have Infinity and had no trouble with it.

BE* have known their stuff re Macs - Hardly had to ask them much, but they know what's what, are friendly - extremely courteous.

Good speeds and no limits/caps.
