mac SSD

hi i bought a mac book MC207B/A end 2009 model when it first come out after about 2 month i decided i did not like it that much and a friend bought it off me and i went back to having a windows gaming pc.

Time moves on and im now getting it back off my friend he dont need it any more i need a laptop he wants a desktop so so basicly im trading him for my second desktop.

Anyway it came with a 250gig HDD but ive got a 64gig SSD i dont need huge space on the macbook i use a NAS drive for files.

Can i replace the 250 with my SSD because when i google for mac/SSD all it comes up with is macbook pro results and nothing about people putting them in normal macbooks im not going to lie when it comes to macs im a bit clueless because as i say i only owned one for 2 month and never went inside it .

Take a look at the Other World Computing web site - if you look around the site you will find fitting instructions and a suggested range of SSDs that they have tested for Mac books

Thanks for that ill check it out ive already got a SSD in my desktop that im going to use its only been used about 3 months and my mate dont want it when he takes my desktop, Hes more size over speed so he only wants the 1TB hdd in there, So im going to reuse that in the mac and stick the 250 in a 2.5" caddy and leave it in my laptop bag incase there any big files i might need on the go.
