Bought it mainly for the airplay so that I could watch non iTunes material on Apple TV, but can't use it as my iMac is too old. It's less than 2 years old! Very disappointed.

Tried the trial version of airparrot but found it stuttered; also it didn't work with audio only files (dts and flac).

Had my first Kernel Panic with 10.8 Mountain Lion. Had lots with 10.7.4 which resulted in a downgrade to 10.7.3. I'll see how the next few days pan out but I'm losing the spirit Apple at the mo.

Never had one of these on any apple product. I've used quite a few. Got a macbook pro ATM 2012 edition. Works like a dream.

I'm tipping it's a hardware issue as others have said. Best of luck!

I have bought it and am downloading it as I write this but have not decided when I will install it.

It's working wonderfully here. It did download REALLY slow and took 5 hours to download. It was nowhere near to maxxing out my connection. Not noticed anything extra special but I prefer the way updates work now & the way safari works. Wifi seems a little better too.
