It's OK. As has already been posted, the encryption has been cracked.

I wasn't at all bothered, I have the cables I need and would only buy Apple anyway.

If someone is going to spend 700 notes on a phone, why skimp on everything else?

Anyway, iPad mini soon, so that will be another thing to slather over (licks lips).

Just wish the new iMac would come........

I'm not a fan of all-in-one-computers. But I like my Mac Mini.

I love the iMAC but the Mac Mini looks like a really decent bit of kit too. Would match the Time Capsule and APE stacked on top of each other smile

Quad-core i7 and mirrored 500GB disks in a box that small - can't be bad. smile

Nice, but I prefer something a little beefier myself, hence the iMAC.

I would have thought you would be better off with a smaller SSD drive then a separate NAS......

My NAS of choice is the Lacie 5Big Network 2, 15TB jobbie, lovely bit of kit.

I mean an SSD drive for the Apple and a separate NAS for your data storage, but then it all depends how much you store.

Oh, I see what you mean. Conventional hard disks are plenty fast enough for me, but NAS is just too slow. I do have a separate NAS (home built) for TM backups, and also to backup data from other computers, but I wouldn't use it for primary data storage.

I have an SSD on my Windows 7 machine, where it seems to be needed more.

Yes I think as far as Windows is concerned, it does tend to need all the help it can get smile
