Music on demand

I have a small collection of music, about 4gb, I rearly listen to any of it while out and about, but it's all stored on my iPhone anyway, is there a way to remove all the music from the phone, leave the play lists in place, and if I want to play a certain song or play list, just stream it to the phone as if it was still on the device.

Nope (although streaming will eat into your data allowance, obv).

Yeah iTunes match will be a nice solution. It's the one I use for streaming my collection at work and on the go

Thanks all, I think I will give iTunes Match another go, I had it for a while, but was under the impression that the music was downloaded to the device. So if not I will give it another go.

iTunes Match will stream or download as required.
