I have a LOT of files in Dropbox on both Phone and Pad [ iPhone 5S and early iPad ] iPad is WiFi only
these are mainly used for liturgical purposes and I have, and use, Service sheets in Church [ it's actually a 64page pdf ! ]
Got caught on the hop on Sunday as thing got changed at the last minute and I needed different Readings which I knew I had as a pdf in Dropbox. OK so navigated to the file in Dropbox on the iPad and tried to open it - that specific file been not been used for over a year
Only snag was I could not get the iPad then to go back to the complete File List to let me go to the one I use every Sunday !! I do NOT have it in my own memory - 64 pages of Ukrainian for a non-Ukrainian speaker is not easy to memorise. I even rebooted the iPad to try and get my normal file open - nope
Had to use my iPhone Dropbox files and being honest the screen is a bit small for that
A friend told me I should be able to use some of my monthly Data allowance in an emergency as this was, to use the iPhone on the Internet to let me connect to it via WiFi to have opened the file I was in need of.
Does this make sense ? So how do I do it ?
