iPhone headphone volume limit

Anyone know how to override this?

Turn it off.

Settings >> Music >> Volume Limit >> Off

I has been there for as long as I can remember - right back to iPod, because it is an EU requirement. 6th block of settings down, with Videos Photos & Camera etc - at the top.

Then check the settings for whatever app you are using - again, being an EU requirement, it will be there, unless it hands this off to Music settings (or doesn't let you disable, in which case it is your choice of app that is the issue).

Sounds like there is something wrong with your iPhone. Perhaps you need help from an Apple Store.

Yes, very.

If I reinstall the music app then I get the option but it actually makes no difference to the restriction.
