NETGEAR ROUTER

In 2013 I bought a Wireless Netgear Router N300 WNR2200.
It seemed to work OK most of the time.But our MacBookPro now uses OS 1.12.6 and I wonder how to find out if I need updated Firmware from NETGEAR?

I have tried the NETGEAR site "Genie for Mac" but don't seem able to understand it.

Any ideas where I should look for a simple guide on the need or otherwise for updated Firmware?

Navigate to https://www.netgear.com/support/product/WNR2200.aspx and click the Downloads button.

Under 'Firmware and Software Downloads' you will see a link to 'NETGEAR Genie App (Mac)'

I believe that's what you're looking for.
