Just updated to 14.1, having skipped 14.0 because I wasn't about to do an update in the middle of a time sensotove job.

Trouble free, except that I has to read add two file shares (from my Intel and still Ventura box) in a shortcut becuase ehtere seems to have been a subtle change in the underlying permission. Worked fine once I did that though. Also broke a very old scanner driver.

Seems to have brought Teh Snappeh.

Can anyone running Sonoma confirm that you can add video files to the Apple TV app on Sonoma and play them on the Apple TV. I have a large number of dvd rips along with home movies in iTunes on my old Mac pro running high sierra. I use the computer app on appletv to play them.

You have to do it via the computer sharing thingy (the orange icon) rather than the TV app (black icon), with Media Sharing turned on in Settings.

Confused the heck out of me for a while

Thanks. Yes that’s what I use with iTunes on the high sierra computer. I was mostly concerned with Mac side on Sonoma. I haven’t used a recent Mac and was wondering how home sharing worked on Sonoma since iTunes was removed.
I have used plex and it worked but I would prefer to use the Apple TV computers app.
