I have managed to get a Draytek Vigor 2800 as a trial router to make sure I can get get this system to work. I've been told this will support the L2TP but I will need to reconfigure P4 on the back as a second WAN port. Never done that before so any advice on that would be appreciated.

Sorry never used a Draytek router before. Why don�t you look at the 2800 manual (online if necessary) as it should clearly list the steps to setup a L2TP Link? If still no luck then give Draytek support a call as they tend to be very helpful (uk based)
