Been using Vodafone's 5G gigacube for the last few months with really good results (3-4x the speed of 3 4G). Fired up my Switch for the first time in a while last night and found it impossible to online game. Ran a network test and saw that I had a NAT:D. I've managed to game ok on my PC on the likes of Rocket League and Call of Duty but guess the NAT is too restricted on the Switch to match me online. I did some googling and came across this thread of Voda's forums suggesting this a network problem.
I read an older post on here of someone with a similar issue on EE and using a L2TP VPN (apologies if incorrect). There was also a suggestion of using a free alternative to try first
https://www.freel2tpvpn.com/ . But for the life of me I can't get it working on the Huawei router, although I can on my iphone. Wondering if anyone could make any suggestions for either getting the free service to work or any other alternatives.
