VM are in the middle of moving customers from the EE to the Vodafone physical network. I understand all new customers should be on Vodafone from this month, but whom knows what PAYG SIMs are sitting in stores.

To clarify why - VM, Giffgaff, Voxi, Smarty are all "virtual networks" that use the radio signal from their host. Some of these can offer much lower pricing (in many cases for lower speeds, or such things as transparent proxy servers) so when testing stick to the 4 physical networks. (EE/Three/O2/Vodafone).

UPDATE

i Did as suggested (thanks) paid £10 got a [ayg vodaphone sim, really good, so signed up for Vodaphone contract, fastest one , get around 17mbs . think was about 7 on virgin 5 or less on three.
Have ordered a directional ant incase can improve anymore havent found out where nearest vodapgone mast is to tr153fp .......................anybody tell me ... pretty please
