I was interested in Threes The One Plan unlimited data.
I phoned a customer sales representative and asked if I put this sim card in a dongle, would I be able to use it as mobile broadband with unlimited data.
He said that it would not work what so ever because I would need a mobile broadband sim card.
My mobile contract is with O2 and when I insert that sim card into a dongle it works fine with speeds of around 2mbps and is no different to the actual mobile broadband packages.
Why would Threes mobile broadband be different on a smart phone package than their mobile broadband package?
Am I missing something?
Does it separate the bandwidth for phone/mobile broadband?
