Wireless Suggestions?

Does anyone know a better way of connecting to the internet using wireless other than using BT Fon, staying at a different house at the moment which is really bad for signal, my usual dongle/mobile doesn't work now for internet so i'm left with using bt hotspots, but at the moment i am payin £5 for 24 hours access which is high in my view, also if you dont use the internet the timer still counts down, which is a waste of money, suggestions appreciated?.

Depends on what other hotspots you can see e.g. TheCloud

I think that is the only hotspot around this area, how much do those aerials cost then to put outside the house, i still dont think the signal will work even with an external area cause we are on quite low ground where we are and there are lots of trees around, is there any other suggestions for wireless internet?.

Or get a FON Ap without being a BT customer and get to use other FON hotspots worldwide.

Dont you need a current broadband connection for this to work?.

What do you mean buy a subscription, if you mean buy a FON pass i already am and its costing a fortune at £5 a day, and the fact that i dont even get to use most of that 1 day pass as the minutes run down if your on it or not.

You need a connection somewhere in the world, but when you have the FON AP registered and running you can use any other FON hotspot without paying the commercial rates.
