ah cool looks like they've bucked up a bit more since i left, most of the time i was on 1meg with o2 lol at a push 3meg in town center that was about a year and half ago now so suppose loads of things could of changed in that time

I read on an article that the max download speed is only 7.2mbit with a samsung galaxy s3? I can get 820k/s so thats around 8mbit so I doubt thats the case.. very confusing

The Galaxy S3 is 21 Mbps / 5.76 Mbps so as said its down to weather your masts been upgraded or not.

Just to confirm when you say your o2 is 820Kb is it defo 820Kb as in 6.2meg or as is 102KB i just ask because ive never seen o2 go past 3meg (366k) best to double confirm these things

the thing with tethering is they only actually allow it on the one plan so you'd need to get one of their 1 plan sims its the top one in this list its just a 30day sim so order one and if its no good for you cancel it

no this is just upto 7.2 thats one of the phones i had off o2 that was unlocked

I was in central London when I took that

Same spot on network 3 would be around 1.5 Mbps

It's a lottery with 3G speeds though
