No, you could have a million accounts if your credit score is high then you would be fine. It's multiple applications in a set period (6 months) that messes it up

The reference service is Equifax which puts me half-way up the excellent area of the slider. I haven't made any recent requests for credit but then I've never been refused credit so I'm a bit miffed that a phone company would do so - and after taking £90 from my bank which has been refunded so no issue there! The product I wanted to purchase is paid upfront - including the MiFi - every 30 days so where's the credit risk anyway? I received a reply from @orange for the email I sent to @ee - they can't access EE accounts and have asked for the query to made in writing. I don't think I'll bother now unless I need to quell my miff - I'll just wait for someone else to do 4G.

On the very say day I took this screenshot from my Three sim in the same Iphone.. Just to prove a point.. Both screenshots were in the middle of Newport.

Something not quite right there, the first LTE screenshot was using the new Speedtest app, the second of the 3 network on 3G-WCDMA speedtest was on the old legacy version. Can't be same phone, or same day?

But that LTE speeds are very odd, 8meg down, 21meg upload. If you had 20/8 you'd have been happy I suspect??

I read Rory Cellan-Jones' reports on the BBC when EE LTE launched, and the speeds weren't much different to the 3 speeds. (Around here the 3 speeds range from 3megabit to 20megabit depending on load at that time sadly).

James BT Infinity 2 19/09/2012 - Speeds 49 / 8.2 Mbps - Sync 53 / 9.5 Mbps @ 470m
Huawei modem -> RT-N66U -> Switch -> PC/Mac/Linux/NAS/Phone/TV - last speedtest
13 years of broadband - 1999 ntl:(512k/1M)/BTbusiness(2M)/Metronet(2M)/Bulldog(8M/16M)/BE(19M/16M)/BT FTTC(46M)

You're better off getting your mi-fi 4G compatible device from Amazon or other online places then just get a pay as you go 4G Sim when it becomes available. I have a very shoddy Credit file because I put a notice of correction on it and yet I got accepted by O2 and Three. It's all random, I guess their insane amount of requests on the day from your debit card and barclays that were denied (for good reason as Barclaycard is very good at being on the case ) must have flagged their system even before it tried contacting any of the three credit reference agencies (don't forget CallCredit btw - you can access for it free on noddle.co.uk). So it wasn't your credit scoring that was the issue here, me think.

I've got a 4GEE sim in my ipad and I'm not seeing any image compression.

My local cell is 3G at the moment with the following speed at full signal:

On the train through Doncaster last Saturday with only 1 bar signal, a 4G speedtest:

Sad isn't it that 3G is actually faster then 4G !!
