Personally i think they are trying to attract three customers, with threes abolishment of the one plan and all the current new contracts only allowing 4gig tethering, they are trying to show people their network is capable/better and youd be better off with them, As i say thats only my look on it even if not about three people just in general it shows people on o2 voda and three what they are ""missing"" without having to falk a single penny out,
From a business perspective its kind of good marketing, i mean lets face it if three can manage unlimited data on pretty much the same network (MBNL) ee are not going to have a problem with more spectrum available with a few thousand 100gig sims for a few month are they but it could gain them a fair few customers,
TBF ive been with EE on a phone contract and couldn't wait to get away from them so after the 200gig of data over 2 months sim will be binned n it will be a thanks but no thanks lol
