I can't wait to ditch my current provider and get on to EE....

Day to day life will be just that little less stressful!

A bunch of different no-signal not-spots to locate smile

I'm surprised O2 was screwing up voice calls for you though, that was the one thing I thought they could do (albeit at poor voice quality) on their 2G network wink

I can deal with No/Weak Signal... I understand why!

But having signal and still no service and like you said Calls to that point, then whats the point..

I've given notice to O2 for my mums contract and switching her to Three, she was a customer of O2 for over 10 years and in the last 18 months all service has just gone to s*%$.

I'm on a refresh contract so need to pay £180 for remainder of phone and then.. Bye Bye!

My iPhone 4S with an EE sim in has shown me record breaking (in my book) speeds of 8mbps on 3G, The max I could ever get with O2 was about 4mbps and that was in a vry good area.

I have one of these sims, Is there anything special I need to do to activate it ?

I'm using it in my unlocked HTC One M8 and the only place I can connect to is the EE portal via their app I installed from the playstore.

The portal is saying I have no data allowance.

Suggestions anyone ?

That's about right for a 4S unless you're trying at 2am when you might see a bit more. smile

The T-Mobile PAYG £20 addon "6MONTHWEB" gives me 6 months "unlimited", (cough), data with tethering of, I think, upto 6 or 8 devices.

Three will just rob you if you dare use your "unlimited" data for Tethering or some other services!

The ookla app appears to report burst speeds from the testing I have done.

Our http://labs.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest shows the average and graphs.
