EE responded to me eventually last night and confirmed the information provided by Kev. Thanks Kev (y)

Great - hope they fix the website :-/

Obviously with Vodafone now offering 20gb you would expect EE to match it. Will they be willing to let me move plans if a new one is launched?

I think that's fairly new from Vodafone. EE will let you move plans within 6 months if your increased price is more than £5, or if you move after 6 months. You can't pay less until you finish the minimum term and then you can sign up for cheaper.

I haven't been with EE before. Left orange in 2007.

It seems to be the T-mobile systems everywhere (including billing) with the Orange voicemail platform.

this web page is the only way to buy more.
You can also buy Add-ons from your MyEE app.

Despite the name of the website (!) Add-on's are not the way to buy extra data, that's for things such as pre-buying roaming call packages, and accessing the 'deezer' option for those who have that in their plan. My EE app shows two Add-ons, one is Unlimited calls to 0800, the other is Visual voicemail. Both £0.

It does give a "buy data add-on" button, which launches a web page and goes to the http://add-ons.ee.co.uk/purchase which only shows "100MB for £1.99" today. Before Christmas this had the full options as posted before.

Stupid isn't the word.

Tempted to just sell my 5S on ebay and get a 6 on the 20gb plan. Saw 82Mb down 43up yesterday. Insane speeds.

Fair play to EE. They'll take some catching *looks at Vodafone*.

I've only been talking about pay monthly. No 10gb allowance on PAYG.

Yes that's about the highest ive seen on a 6.

Fair play to EE. They'll take some catching *looks at Vodafone*.

Voda are the only other network who may get similar speeds as they also have a lot of spectrum. They will need a few years to build out their networks however. EE are two years ahead.

I know! I wasn't saying that you'd be offered same plans on PAYG as PayM; just that you can use app to see what you can get.

yeah its a good system, they block to prevent a unexpected bill and allow you to buy an addon with no commitment. One reason I ditched O2, as on my O2 packjage once I hit the minuscule 150meg limit I was stuffed, no procedure to get more.
