I actually paid early termination to get my wifes contract ended early with Vodafone, found dealing with them too stressful, even worse than Virgin Media and thats something, I put a giffgaff PAYG sim in her phone and although maximum signal data is like GPRS, was going to try sky with the option to move mine when my contract is up with 3 next month but looks like staying with them or go to EE thanks to you guys sharing your experience, and yes when I took it out with vodafonr they wanted a £150 deposit due to credit score lol even though I've no issues there lol
I used the 3 calling app but the issue for me is it didn't go in the standard call logs or txt chain, thats important to me, unless it does now?

No it still does it all in app - which many people have told 3 is a pain the bum, but they don't seem to want to listen.

Thanks, saves me testing, I did complain to them about it and they sent me a free home signal box thingy thats plugged in my router. Have to reboot it every 3 days to stop incoming calls going straight to voicemail, but works fine....I think I will be staying with 3 lol as their retentions deals are normally excellent

I would have to agree, they gave me a £8 a month discount which I never asked for - not that I complained smile

your plan doesnt exist on the EE website, are you special?

I expect the answer is you on a retention or discontinued package in which case its unfair to make the value comparison.

I agree tho that sly using O2 is bad news.

Earlier in the year EE were offering around 50% discount on their 16gb £34.99 pm sim only plan so it made sense to grab it before it was gone. Even last week EE were offering their 20gb plan for £20pm during Black Friday sale. Rule number 1 on EE: never pay the full advertised price for a plan (unless going via a cash back site) smile

Rule Number 2 - always check the cashback site anyway because often they do reduced plans on the website and cashback. Well BT do anyway - £15 a month for 20GB + unlimited allowance + £80 cashback + £80 amazon or mastercard gift card

Nice!

in which case what makes you think there wont be deals on sky mobile?

So my point remains valid really, you comparing a temporary offer to a normal priced package.
