3 mobile bb setup - Help!

Hi all,

Complete luddite so looking for a bit of guidance and assistance if possible please.

I've just moved into a new property where BT and others will guarantee me no more than 1mbps fixed line (whoopee).

So my plan is to go the mobile broadband route.

I've done a number of speed tests all round the house with my 4G mobile phone (Nokia). Signal strength everywhere is full bars and speed tests range from 10-20mbps.

The house also has a heos Denon surround sound system and TP link TL-WR940N router.

My plan is to:-
Buy the 3 mobile broadband with Huawei B535
Connect (bridge?) It to the TPLink and I'm back online with music to boot

My previous house had about 5-8mbps which seemed more than enough for surfing and Netflix for mem

A few questions if I may:-
1) Does this sound like the best approach?
2) when running speed tests, the results varied quite a lot , even when I re-ran tests seconds after the last, in the same location. Is this to be expected?
3) how do I best decide where to locate the two routers, is it just a case of moving around and seeing where I get the best speeds?

Why two routers? It should work fine, but can cause issues.

if the second router is just there to provide better wireless coverage look at the TP-Link router to see if it supports a wireless access point mode.

On speeds mobile services are more variable in speed, its the joy of sharing the air with all the other mobile users on the same frequency versus dedicated cable to the cabinet/exchange. If the dips are not too low then so long as watching a streaming service with a reasonable buffer you should not notice, but live streaming will possibly show the variations in speed.

Generally the 4G/5G routers are more stable i.e. sat in some spot and don't have a human holding it to interfere with signal.

On locating the B535 optimise its location for best view of mobile mast, for wireless coverage it is then experiment.

The TP is already there. From what I can work it out is a network for the heos Denon amps, which appear to be hooked up to speakers built into the walls and ceilings. The TP router doesn't have a SIM card slot so it sounds like I swap out that router with the B535, or I connect the TP 'network' as a wireless access point??

If you swap out the TP-link the wireless devices will need to be taught about the new wireless network, or by enabling wireless access point on the TP Link this will be avoided as will the double NAT issues which can be an issue sometimes
