You can send an email to the team@ address and ask them to put accounts on an ignore list. I assume they will still do this, they have done in the past. You won't see their posts but you will see any posts replying to them which may include quotes from the post you can't see. Or you can add them to your own internal ignore list and just skip past their posts if you aren't interested.

Peter Clarke's nickname for Three's more recent monopoles!

Thanks for that. But frown.

It did come up on one acronym list, but with no explanation. I ignored it as it obviously has no sensible association with high tech mobile coms smile. More likely to be something to do with the most highly skilled "exotic dancers".

It's a daft acronym. No wonder there's only one person on these forums using it.

Connections: Pixel 6a on Three 4+ (LTE)/5G, OnePlus 8 Pro on EE in reserve. At home Three Mobile, with (Three)ZTE MC888 router giving 5G most of the time..

Its very common on other forums, popular because the streetworks sites from Three were incorporating more technology and frequencies than had been seen before in one installation.

An industry term is "streetworks pole" or "streetworks site"; constrast with a building site (ie, transmitters hidden on a building) or a traditional mast from the 1980s or 1990s. The term "tower" has now become popular, although originates from North America.

One of the companies that owns a lot of the physical infrastructure across europe is Cellnex, not to be confused with the old UK only mobile network name, and its predecessor in the UK would be Arqiva.
