Nothing ever will get it FIX for nearly 9 months now! Why it taking bloody ages to get it FIX?

Useless and hate Three!

Slow speeds sounds as if lots more users in an area than planned for. Fixing this isn't easy, if the network link from mast to the core network is full, this can be upgraded.... but in most cases its the radio side, so you need a new mast... to take some of the load of the existing. Councils routinely reject new masts... sadly.

OR could be replacing hardware with the Government requirement to remove Huawei, or they're getting ready for the merger with Vodafone.

Yep, you can see that on the map. Although they can turn it off remotely so I assume areas they haven’t they know 4G has insufficient capacity.

Openreach by the Madeley 5G mast are suppose to do the work this week but was cancelled now until next month is very frustrating indeed. I think it won't get any better until next year. I got no 2G, 3G, 5G just 4G but awful very slow speed. And keep getting disconnected time to time. Really fed up.

Connection still bad this morning, but walking around to our local Lidl I bumped into an Ericsson engineer poking around in the box below our mast. I think he said a transmitter had gone down but he'd fixed it and everything was back working properly.

Tested back home at 90.9/33.2 Mbps

Huzzah!

Very strange there is no mast around Lidl in Madeley. How odd?

apparently they have altered the sims so that they don't see the masts anymore ...

That said, my local one decides to cut me off as soon as i get out of my house, so its either a reboot or a quick switch to 3g/2g and then back to lte/3g/2g

I would have thought if the SIM says "3G not available" that some phones will ignore this and use anyway!
