Service with static IP address.

[link to this post]

My full fibre internet with static IP address is not working and not much prospect of a quick fix.

So I am looking for a short term reliable mobile service with a static IP address.

Andrews and Arnold were my choice, but their Three SIM card does not work at my address.

Suggestions welcomed.

Almost no mobile provider will provide a static IP or even an inbound routable dynamic, most are CGNAT or firewalled if you get IPv6 to protect majority of customers.

Get any workable service, and use a router that can handle L2TP with AAISP’s service:

If you can’t get Three signal that means Smarty and ID are out; so you need to see which of Vodafone, O2 or EE gives you the best data rate. If Vodafone look at Voxi, if O2, look at GiffGaff, and if EE then look at 1pMobile for short term reasonable cost.

There are a few companies that will offer you 4G/5G with static IP, but they are not cheap. Also, most are for IOT, so I am not sure if you get decent data rates. Best to get a cheap 4G and a static IP address through VPN or L2TP tunnel

IoT is what I need - so data rate not an issue.
