Would anyone recommend an SMC7901BRA for this?

I have the same router with a d-link dsl-300t modem. With its supplied firmware it is only ADSL (not ADSL2+) and is a bit flakey, however if you upgrade to the newest firmware (not on the UK site) but on the swedish/german/russian (dont worry its still in english) sites it does support ADSL2+ and is rock solid! I definitely recommend it!

In the end I went with the ZyXEL 660R-61C modem/router. The Manual (PDF) is 282 pages long (Not multiple languages) and there doesn't seem to be much it can't do. I ordered it before I got your reply. Lets hope it's as good as it seems to suggest.

I've a DGL-4300. I just found our my ISP only offers PPPoA access for WAN so i need to buy a boradband modem as well.

Would be good to get your feedback. Let me know if you're happy with your Zyxel.

Thanks
